The 2018 ride took place from 21st to 24th September, going from London to Dublin.
The Grand Union route out of London became establish as the favourite escape to the countryside, with Banbury as the first stopover. There was a very strong head-wind on both the first and third days. The second day was just wet, but it was actually nice for the last half day before the ferry from Holyhead to Dublin. The Irish Sea was remarkably calm. Mel and Karen were the support team.
The evening meals were Italian in Banbury, Indian in Shrewsbury, Fish & Chips in Llandudno, and the only Mexican restaurant in Dublin.
